This series moves beyond the strict square grid of 5 × 5 sub-squares by combining the base squares into double blocks, so that in the end only a single central opening remains as a resolving final element.
The work aims to constructively resolve several compositional tensions: the contrast of color in itself, the light–dark contrast, as well as the contrast of quantity.
