The works of the award-winning Austrian artist Isabel Breininger (winner of the 2025 Woman Art Award) are visual powerhouses. Her colour-rich, large-scale works tread the fine line between expressive abstraction and figuration. Characterised by dynamic brushstrokes and a vibrant colour palette, her paintings deliberately eschew academic heaviness. Instead, Breininger invites the viewer to immerse themselves in individual stories without theoretical overburdening. Each painting is created and only comes to completion in the viewer’s own mind. 

This uncompromisingly positive, regenerative energy is a conscious creative choice. 
In the true spirit of the tradition-rich Wiener Werkstätten, Breininger allows her artistic vision to permeate her entire living space: alongside her canvases, she produces in her ‘Malsalon’ in Mödling exquisite, hand-painted, one-of-a-kind interior pieces as well as the limited-edition  fashion collection of her label "orange and pink". Following her success with the award for the work “Mirror to the Past” and exhibitions in Berlin, Prague and New York, the artist will present her work in 2026 at international venues as Stockholm and Paris (Carousel du Louvre).
