June Kitho, is a multimedia visual artist who explores cross-topic thematics in biology and patriarchal society. At the intersection of biology and art, she often explores themes such as transience and decay.

After starting out in printmaking, her working technique has shifted towards sculptural elements. She experiments with different media, but her main materials are ceramics and wool. Both are opposites of each other and reflect an inner conflict.

Born in 1985 in Lower Austria, she moved to Vienna to study biology at the University of Vienna, where she graduated in 2016 with a master's degree and started her PhD in 2018. She then received her Bachelor of Education from the University of Fine Arts in 2025, where she is still studying at the moment.
